Redmond, WA – July 15th, 2005 - telSPACE, an innovative provider of multi-service billing, rating, and customer care software solutions for the communications services industry, today announced the partnership between telSPACE and Lucky Wireless. Lucky Wireless is an MVNO with Verizon and has relationships with very large affinity groups and mass merchandisers. Lucky Wireless, headed up by CEO Bennett Alpert, has been working hard to open awareness of the Verizon resale program. Their relationships include retailers and agents scattered all across the country.
“The strategy is to market post paid type rate plans with the finest network quality all in the security confounds of a prepaid architectural environment.” said Bennett Alpert, CEO of Lucky Wireless. “Our business plan is founded on the premise of allowing every customer regardless of credit worthiness to sign up for cellular service at rates typical of programs that require credit checks and lengthy contract commitments. We believe this creates customer loyalty and financially benefits all parties in the end.”
telSPACE created a system that allows any company the ability to add communications to their product line. The system comprises a comprehensive back office network, including all operations functions, such as customer activation, carrier procurement, fulfillment, billing and rating, MIS reporting, and customer service, all integrated into one ubiquitous operating platform. telSPACE has utilized the Internet to automate the complex customer acquisition process, thereby allowing its clients to instantly penetrate new markets or expand service offerings.
Paris Holt, telSPACE’s CEO said, “Technology is heading to a point where the phone will be the most important piece of equipment a person has, and not just for the sole purpose of communications. Bennett and I both believe that the cellular phone, as is being proven true in Japan and many other countries more advanced than the US cellular product set, will be an integral of US’s payment processing infrastructure and will also be used much more than today for entertainment purposes. TV, Music, credit card payments and many other data functions such as e-mail and web browsing will become everyday uses for the masses on the cell phone. The relationship with Lucky Wireless allows us to support one of the best carriers in the country and provide another MVNO with a custom tailor solution. ”
“We have been searching for over a year to find a company with the foundation to deliver our ideas to the marketplace,” continues Mr. Alpert. “We already had the sales and marketing strategies completed and all we needed was to find or build a back office solution flexible enough to deliver our strategies to market; telSPACE has done just that. It’s the perfect marriage of technology and opportunity.”
